因為不同的矯正方式所帶來的生活不便真的是件麻煩事情

我：做牙齒矯正一定要拔牙齒嗎？
Me : Is it necessary to have my tooth out before orthodontic?
醫師：通常會建議要做拔牙的動作主要是讓牙齒回歸正常的咬合狀態,
Doctor : Usually recommended to have tooth out is mainly to return the tooth occlusion back to normal condition
在矯正過程不僅僅是把牙齒透過牙套來做調整之外
During the correct process, not only adjusts the teeth by braces
同時也是幫助牙齒放置在臉部美學最佳位置上
But also get the teeth to the best position in facial aesthetics
所以才會透過拔牙裝上牙套後來將門牙往後移
Therefore, it will through tooth extraction then put on the braces to make incisors move backwards
面部表情才會顯得柔和端莊
Facial expressions will appear soft and dignified
除此之外矯正前的咬合是不正常的食物往往很難咀嚼到很細

我：為什麼牙齒矯正的時間都要很長？
Me : Why orthodontic always takes long?
醫師：一般牙齒矯正的時間為一年半到兩年左右
Doctor : In general, orthodontic will take around one and half to two year.
針對每個人的體質與牙齒狀況所需要的時間都會不一樣
Depends to different constitution and teeth situation will required different time.
若是在青春期時就發現有牙齒矯正的必要
If it is founded in adolescence that orthodontic is necessary.
掌握正在發育的青春期進行矯正是最佳黃金時期
Adolescence is the golden age for teeth orthodontic.
因為生長發育旺盛有可能會縮短矯正時間將矯正時間加速到一年左右就可以完成
This period could efficiently reduces the orthodontic time to around 1 year.
所以越年輕做牙齒矯正會越容易喔!
So it would be much easier when you do it in younger age.
我：已經矯正完的牙齒為什麼還需要戴維持器？
Me : Why I still need to wear holder after orthodontics?
醫師：隨著時間變化臉部的肌肉與骨骼會不停變化
Dortoc : As time changes the muscles and bones of the face will keep changing.
所以當矯正後口腔內的韌帶是需要1-2年才會認得新的位置並且長好
After orthodontics, the oral ligaments will need 1-2 years to recognize the new position and grow well.
若沒有配戴維持器很容易原本調整好的牙位因為咀嚼而跑位
Teeth will get displaced easily by chewing without holder.
站在醫學角度上來說患者若希望能一直保持完美的牙型

我：配戴隱形牙套飲食上好像很容易造成牙齒痠痛？

透過持續性的拉力會造成牙齦與牙韌帶細胞層的微發炎反應

相對上在飲食下就會感覺酸疼

這些都是正常現象
These are normal situation
當矯正趨於穩定後酸疼感就會慢慢緩減
When the correction tends to stabilize the soreness will slow down
後期對於飲食幾乎就不太會有問題了
There is almost no problem for diet in the later stage.
現在我幾乎都只有吃飯的時候會把隱形牙套拿下來
Now, I will only take off the invisible braces when diet.
其他時間出門參加聚會都沒有太大影響
It doesn’t bring me much impact while going out to participate the parties.
周圍的朋友若沒有仔細看幾乎都沒發現我有戴牙套
My friends don’t even know that I wear the braces if they don’t take a close look.
本來擔心矯正時間會很長
Originally, I was concerned the orthodontic will take a really long period.
但沒想到一年在過也蠻快的
